Isidro Calvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Chano's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Lisandro Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Isidro Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match Domingo Silvanito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Calvino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franco Canadiense's James Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Loco in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Franco Canadiense's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Loco came free, but James Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Chano was the one to do the kick off. Martin Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rodriguez having to interfere. Carlos Ostargi struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Isidro Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franco Canadiense. Isidro Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Falso Nueve booed when Franco Canadiense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Franco Canadiense's zone, Dante Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Rodriguez came out of the goal and Dante Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Falso Nueve's Isidro Calvino got control of the ball when Carlos Ostargi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bernardino Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Dante Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lisandro Chano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Calvino having to interfere.
