James Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Luken in the 8th minute of the match. Humberto Ibar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of James Rodriguez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeremias Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ostargi in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Chano in the 20th minute of play forced Club Belgrano San Nicolas's goalkeeper Jeremias Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Patxi having to interfere. James Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Luken, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Eugenio Luken fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eugenio Luken was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 32nd minute Carlos Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Belgrano San Nicolas's David Chan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Lisandro Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Patxi having to interfere. Jeremias Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Ostargi in the 38th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisandro Chano made a kick off. Club Belgrano San Nicolas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Franco Canadiense the free kick. If Lisandro Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Eugenio Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Ostargi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jeremias Patxi made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, Club Belgrano San Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. Franco Canadiense's Fermin Aballe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jeremias Patxi but with some difficulty. Eugenio Luken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without James Rodriguez having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Franco Canadiense's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Ibar came free, but James Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Humberto Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Belgrano San Nicolas's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Ibar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Rodriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
