When Leon Darien fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perchel's protests and gave Leon Darien a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Perchel booed when Encrucijada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Robustiano Gaitano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Encrucijada FC's Amado Ourente didn't even have to move. Gavino Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Encrucijada FC booed when Perchel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Javiero hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Ruperto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Peter hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Gavino Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Enekoitz in the 40th minute of play forced Perchel's goalkeeper Hilario Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Justino Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encrucijada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Abella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hilario Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Justino Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Abella having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Encrucijada FC's zone, Gavino Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Ourente came out of the goal and Gavino Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada FC's Teofilo Mendebal got a free kick in the 57th minute. Perchel's Robustiano Gaitano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Encrucijada FC. Justino Enekoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Enekoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Encrucijada FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Justino Enekoitz hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Lazcano during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gavino Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Amado Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Ourente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Javiero went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 74 played minutes Perchel got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Txaran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Enekoitz in the 76th minute of play forced Perchel's goalkeeper Hilario Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Justino Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Encrucijada FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perchel.
