Evelio Telo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by La Bilardeta's Hernan Benat. But to his dismay, Hernan Benat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carlos Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Hernan Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Hernan Benat came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the La Bilardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Benat couldn't finish the play. Hernan Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Telo having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, La Bilardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Danel came free, but Maximo Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Danel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hernan Benat scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Telo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Froilan Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Telo having to interfere. Evelio Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Txartiko's late challenge caught a La Bilardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Txartiko helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislao Txartiko hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Carlos Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Telo having to interfere. If Carlos Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ladislao Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Hernan Benat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Bilardeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ladislao Txartiko was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of La Bilardeta booed when Palermo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, La Bilardeta's Hernan Benat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evelio Telo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palermo FC's Evelio Telo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo FC from getting a goal against them. Evelio Telo was a little too slow when Hernan Benat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 93rd minute, Hernan Benat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Bilardeta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
