Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lisandro Mitxaut made the kick off which started today's match. If Julian Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes, Hernan Benat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Bilardeta and the NEUQUÉN ATL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 9 minutes into the match, Lázaro Gaxan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La Bilardeta's Maximo Kepa. Maximo Kepa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the game, Bernardo Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NEUQUÉN ATL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Bilardeta the free kick. In the 12th match minute, NEUQUÉN ATL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Benat came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Matei could save by the left post. La Bilardeta's Hernan Benat got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to NEUQUÉN ATL getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mariano Carlomagno hit a great ball. Froilan Eutor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of NEUQUÉN ATL booed when La Bilardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Benat was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hernan Benat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Gabriel Matei made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Julian Berbiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Maximo Kepa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Benat to make the kick off. When Ramon Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEUQUÉN ATL's protests and gave Ramon Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, NEUQUÉN ATL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Martinez to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, NEUQUÉN ATL's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Benat came free, but Gabriel Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Froilan Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Hernan Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Bilardeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Benat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, La Bilardeta's goalkeeper Maximo Kepa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Martinez. NEUQUÉN ATL's Gabriel Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Benat in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of La Bilardeta booed when NEUQUÉN ATL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gabriel Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Hernan Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Bilardeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Benat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hernan Benat came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the La Bilardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Benat couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute of the match Apolo Ricart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Kepa skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Benat in the 90th minute of the match. NEUQUÉN ATL were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over La Bilardeta's much stronger midfield.
