Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ignacio Pabla took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Orán getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ciro Rodas hit a great ball. After 6 minutes of play, NUEVA CHICAGO's Nicasio Goi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Blanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquilino Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Orán got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Rodas. 16 minutes into the match, NUEVA CHICAGO's Baldomero Weather broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. NUEVA CHICAGO's attack was well implemented in the 19th minute, but when Arnoldo Gines was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of NUEVA CHICAGO booed when Orán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jonas Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Orán got a freekick which was hit by Abel Cibran. After 28 played minutes, NUEVA CHICAGO's Baldomero Weather shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Blanco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NUEVA CHICAGO reached it. After 29 minutes Orán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baldomero Weather who took care of the corner kick. Mauro Jerico didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. When Nicasio Goi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the NUEVA CHICAGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Goi couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Blanco having to interfere. Ignacio Pabla struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Mauro Jerico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orán. After having played for 47 minutes, Elpidio Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Txurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Cristofor was the one to do the kick off. Mauro Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Pabla in the 51st minute of play. When Elpidio Txurio came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Orán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Txurio couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Nicasio Goi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NUEVA CHICAGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Nicasio Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Cristofor in the 69th minute of play forced Orán's goalkeeper Jonas Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ignacio Pabla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Jerico. NUEVA CHICAGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Pabla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Txurio in the 79th minute of play forced NUEVA CHICAGO's goalkeeper Mauro Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ignacio Pabla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mauro Jerico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, NUEVA CHICAGO's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Pabla came free, but Mauro Jerico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Orán supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching NUEVA CHICAGO's performance. The match ended with a win for NUEVA CHICAGO.
