Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) damian F.C's Federico Lonzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Federico Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Telo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baldomiro Truylos fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Truylos a yellow card for diving instead. Evelio Telo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Emesto in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Pastor Emesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Telo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Roman Jesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Iker Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Obano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Telo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Pastor Emesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Evelio Telo made a huge save. Federico Lonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palermo FC's Evelio Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Lonzo in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Danel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Genaro Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the damian F.C and the Palermo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Genaro Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Iker Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Palermo FC defense, Pastor Emesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Telo. The Palermo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Telo should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Obano during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes damian F.C got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Obano. Pastor Emesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Evelio Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When damian F.C's Pastor Emesto in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palermo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Evelio Telo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by damian F.C's Pastor Emesto. But to his dismay, Pastor Emesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. During the 80th minute of the match Baldomiro Truylos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baldomiro Truylos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 81 played minutes Palermo FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Truylos. Pastor Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Telo having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Efrain Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
