Delmiro Beltxe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Angel Porfirio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th match minute, Esquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Serafin Bakar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Nicolas's Bartolo Federigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Roberto Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Beltxes short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Angel Porfirio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Esquina's Angel Porfirio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Esquina from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Espiridion was the one to do the kick off. Angel Porfirio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Beltxe in the 56th minute of the match. Serafin Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bartolo Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joaquin Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Beltxe in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Porfirio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Porfirio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Beltxe's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Esquina's zone, Roberto Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Porfirio came out of the goal and Roberto Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Roberto Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Delmiro Beltxe came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Atlético Nicolas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Beltxe couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Bakar got free with Bartolo Federigo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Delmiro Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roberto Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Beltxe struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Angel Porfirio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Nicolas. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlético Nicolas fully deserved thier win.
