Casimiro Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gogo Odol might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Faron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Odol ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Fraco charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Fraco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Fraco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Frans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clorinda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Silverio Crispo scored to the left of an out of position Casimiro Asteri, making the score, 0-2.
