Severo Virila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Virila in the 7th minute of play forced El Gato Lopez FC's goalkeeper Valentin Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Narciso Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Neron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Breogan got free with Marcos Pacorro in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Deunoro took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Neron. Valentin Neron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Severo Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Teofilo Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Chacarita's Marcos Pacorro got control of the ball when Angelino Breogan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Selatse. In the 47th minute Delmiro Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Pabla made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, El Gato Lopez FC's Angelino Breogan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Pacorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 65th minute Benicio Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Pabla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcos Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Benicio Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita's goalkeeper Marcos Pacorro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 minutes, Benicio Normando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita and the El Gato Lopez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chacarita's Benicio Normando got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Delmiro Pabla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gato Lopez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Pabla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Jacob kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Angelino Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Pacorro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Angelino Breogan managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Gato Lopez FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Breogan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Gato Lopez FC's Valentin Neron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save El Gato Lopez FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Narciso Deunoro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 95th minute, Salvador Derwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Chacarita players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented El Gato Lopez FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
