The audience was convinced that Anastasio Edorta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venancio Laffitte was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. A collision led to Clorinda getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Conrado Nerio hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Clorinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Edorta to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, leolinos ts as's Saturnino Jacindo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 20th match minute, Clorinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Hanni to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Clorinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Odol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gogo Odol came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Clorinda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Odol couldn't finish the play. Venancio Laffitte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Odol's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Luciano Ortle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Asteri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Luciano Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Asteri having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Luciano Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. leolinos ts as's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Benvido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Elias Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Luciano Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gogo Odol made a kick off. Americo Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gogo Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Venancio Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Asteri having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Luciano Ortle in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luciano Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Elias Benvido notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Clorinda's Casimiro Asteri. Casimiro Asteri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gogo Odol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Venancio Laffitte. That made the score 2-1 in the 79 minute of play. Venancio Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Odol in the 84th minute of play. Americo Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. leolinos ts as's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
