When Nemesio Incendio fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Nicolas's protests and gave Nemesio Incendio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Atlético Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Incendio to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Ourente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bartolo Federigo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Beltxe in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Foro saved Estudiantes de Olavarría from getting behind. The supporters of Atlético Nicolas booed when Estudiantes de Olavarría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Ferman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Guillelmus hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Bernabe Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Federigo having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Atlético Nicolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nicolas's Delmiro Beltxe got a free kick in the 38th minute. Bartolo Federigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Ourente went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Bernabe Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Beltxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Everardo Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With his leg Everardo Foro managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Atlético Nicolas's Delmiro Beltxe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Marcial Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcial Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Atlético Nicolas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Guillelmus couldn't finish the play. Victorio Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorio Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de Olavarría's Andres Segio got a free kick in the 69th minute. Everardo Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Beltxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nicolas's zone, Bernabe Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Foro came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Nicolas's Delmiro Beltxe. But to his dismay, Delmiro Beltxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Aurelio Lope in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Nicolas's Nemesio Incendio. After having played for 91 minutes, Delmiro Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Nicolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Atlético Nicolas were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Estudiantes de Olavarría side.
