Spectators: 7151 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 100) Narciso Deunoro made the kick off and thus started the match. After 10 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Leo Jacob. The supporters of Clorinda booed when Chacarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita's goalkeeper Marcos Pacorro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Odol came free, but Marcos Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Narciso Deunoro fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita's protests and gave Narciso Deunoro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute Narciso Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Narciso Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Pacorro made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Americo Sandalio sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Americo Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clorinda's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Benicio Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gogo Odol made a kick off. Orlando Ado hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcos Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Sandalio in the 59th minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Gogo Odol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita's Marcos Pacorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Odol in the 65th minute of play. Casimiro Asteri came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Chacarita's Severo Virila. But to his dismay, Severo Virila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 73rd minute Americo Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Deunoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Asteri having to interfere. Chacarita's Severo Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chacarita's Marcos Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Odol in the 81st minute of play. Americo Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Pacorro having to interfere. If Narciso Deunoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chacarita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
