Marcos Pacorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Narciso Deunoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Gato Lopez FC's Valentin Neron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Chacarita's Narciso Deunoro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Neron. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Chacarita defense, Delmiro Pabla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Pacorro. The Chacarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Pacorro should have stopped the shot. Valentin Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Deunoro in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Maximiliano Beltza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Neron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Delmiro Pabla might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Pacorro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Pabla ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Normando got free with Valentin Neron in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmiro Pabla was the one to do the kick off. Valentin Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Delmiro Pabla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Narciso Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Pabla had several of the Chacarita's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Marcos Pacorro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Severo Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Neron having to interfere. Angelino Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leo Jacob fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita's protests and gave Leo Jacob a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Chacarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Pabla hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Gato Lopez FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
