The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Donato Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Colón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirata FC the free kick. Donato Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Rigoberto Alfonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Danilo Ondino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Defensores de Colón got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Millrick. Danilo Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Ondino having to interfere. Defensores de Colón's Danilo Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Donato Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Colón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Flavio Ondino made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Danilo Ondino sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Ondino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Flavio Ondino made a huge save. Flavio Ondino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Tuste in the 71st minute of play.
