The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cavallino FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Victorino Christobal hit a great ball. The nice shot from Esteban Celio in the 4thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Niceto Francis had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Santo Francis's late challenge caught a Herlitzka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Francis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Santo Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Francis made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Esteban Celio sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes of play, Cavallino FC's Santo Francis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Ekaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the game, Esteban Celio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Niceto Francis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Cavallino FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Cavallino FC's Alvaro Malvin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Everardo Romano in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cavallino FC's Santo Francis. Gerardo Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Malvin in the 25th minute of the match. If Santo Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavallino FC's Alvaro Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Herlitzka's zone, Santo Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Ekaitz came out of the goal and Santo Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Alvaro Malvin put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gerardo Ekaitz. 40 minutes in the game Sixto Salvadore did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Everardo Romano. When Alvaro Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cavallino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Malvin couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Malvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernan Fortun hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gerardo Ekaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Malvin in the 56th minute. Santo Francis struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gerardo Ekaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavallino FC. Eugenio Unax made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victorino Sugoi immediately put the ball in play. Esteban Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Hugo Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gerardo Ekaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Alejandro Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavallino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cavallino FC's Guillermo Asur quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sixto Salvadore, made in the 94th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Celio in the 97th minute of play forced Cavallino FC's goalkeeper Niceto Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Cavallino FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herlitzka throughout the match.
