Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tala AFC's Mateo Cordaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Tuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Ponce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Prudencio Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Defensores de Colón's Aurelio Tuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Ponce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Roque Ponce didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With his leg Roque Ponce managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Defensores de Colón's Danilo Ondino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roque Ponce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Tuste's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Cordaro in the 28th minute of play forced Defensores de Colón's goalkeeper Rigoberto Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aurelio Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Ponce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Tuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Tala AFC's Roque Ponce got control of the ball when Donato Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Aurelio Tuste made the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Danilo Ondino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Tuste struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Roque Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Colón. Mateo Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Alfonso having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Mateo Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tala AFC's zone, Danilo Ondino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Ponce came out of the goal and Danilo Ondino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Ponce having to interfere. Roque Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Ondino in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Ponce saved Tala AFC from getting behind. Danilo Ondino scored 4-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Ponce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tala AFC's Prudencio Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Mateo Cordaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Rigoberto Alfonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tala AFC's Everardo Nikola got a free kick in the 89th minute. Roque Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Tuste in the 94th minute of play. Rigoberto Alfonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Cordaro went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Defensores de Colón's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
