When Tala AFC's Mateo Cordaro, in the 5th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tala AFC. 9 minutes into the game, Evaristo Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capayán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tala AFC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Evaristo Nerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Tala AFC's Mateo Cordaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Felix Polentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Cordaro in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Capayán's goalkeeper Felix Polentzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Vito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Cordaro in the 19th minute of play forced Capayán's goalkeeper Felix Polentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mateo Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tala AFC's Everardo Nikola got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Cristian Montrelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Polentzi having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Roque Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Bikendi in the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Montrelle got free with Roque Ponce in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Roque Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Ponce made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cristian Montrelle sent off a good shot on target. If Everardo Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Polentzi having to interfere. Capayán's Felix Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Cordaro in the 86th minute of play. Prudencio Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Polentzi having to interfere. Roque Ponce made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Cristian Montrelle sent off a good shot on target. Delmiro Bikendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Capayán players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tala AFC.
