Felixus's Omar Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Gauargi in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Pirata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Ponc came free, but Flavio Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes, Jairo Handi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Felixus and the Pirata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Jairo Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Belarmo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pirata FC's Miguel Eate got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pirata FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Casado was slow to take the kick. During this time Felixus's players had a chance to rest. Felixus's Severo Tajo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavio Ondino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Inocencio Casado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Omar Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Gauargi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Domingos Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Dimas having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match Baltasar Ubendu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Dimas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Omar Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Gauargi in the 90th minute of play. Virgilio Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Fernan Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felixus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Ponc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Felixus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pirata FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
