Herlitzka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Esteban Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Tala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Nikola. Roque Ponce was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Everardo Romano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Everardo Romano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Tala AFC's Prudencio Vito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Ekaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Sugoi during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Romano couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Herlitzka's zone, Prudencio Vito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Ekaitz came out of the goal and Prudencio Vito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gerardo Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Cordaro was the one to do the kick off. Roque Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Celio in the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Prudencio Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Vito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Ekaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prudencio Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. After 71 minutes of play Tala AFC's Everardo Nikola was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Esteban Celio scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Ponce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Ekaitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prudencio Vito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 80 minute of play. Esteban Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
