After a rather tough play, Mollar AFC's Cosme Vitin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Santiago Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Ondino in the 15th minute of the match. Amador Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mollar AFC booed when Defensores de Colón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Amador Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mollar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mollar AFC's Santiago Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Velasco in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Defensores de Colón's Nicolas Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amador Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Dominguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 59 minutes on the clock, Emiliano Millrick commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Mollar AFC. Cosme Vitin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rigoberto Alfonso. 1-1. Mollar AFC's Lino Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Amador Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Alfonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Fernendo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Fernendo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Defensores de Colón got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Fernendo. A collision led to Defensores de Colón getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Danilo Ondino hit a great ball. Lino Dominguez succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. If Amador Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Velasco struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Santiago Jobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Colón. When Danilo Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Defensores de Colón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Ondino couldn't finish the play. Danilo Ondino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Santiago Jobo made a huge save. Amador Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Rigoberto Alfonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Defensores de Colón's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Defensores de Colón may have spent more time on the ball, but Mollar AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
