Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Delmiro Bikendi made the kick off which started today's match. David Lain took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Polentzi. Angelino Merexildo's late challenge caught a Caballa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. Angelino Merexildo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Ubendu in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Polentzi saved Capayán from getting behind. After 16 played minutes Capayán got a freekick which was hit by David Benat. After recieving a nice pass, Caballa's Everardo Bras tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Anibal Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Lain got free with Felix Polentzi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If David Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Polentzi having to interfere. When Anibal Ubendu fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballa's protests and gave Anibal Ubendu a yellow card for diving instead. Anibal Ubendu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Felix Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Valiente, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Lain got free with Felix Polentzi in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anibal Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Felix Polentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Polentzi having to interfere. David Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Anibal Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Polentzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Anibal Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Ubendu to make the kick off. If David Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caballa's Daniel Janpier pulled a muscle in his back after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Angelino Merexildo was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Felix Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lain in the 87th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game David Lain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capayán's Felix Polentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
