An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lain in the 20th minute of play forced Herlitzka's goalkeeper Gerardo Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herlitzka's Gerardo Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Ubendu in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lain in the 22nd minute of play forced Herlitzka's goalkeeper Gerardo Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herlitzka's Gerardo Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Lain in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Herlitzka's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Ubendu came free, but Gerardo Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caballa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Ubendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herlitzka's Gerardo Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Ubendu in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Herlitzka getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Victorino Sugoi hit a great ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herlitzka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everardo Bras was slow to take the kick. During this time Caballa's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Everardo Bras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerardo Ekaitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Romano to make the kick off. Caballa's Anibal Ubendu got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Herlitzka's zone, David Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Ekaitz came out of the goal and David Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Urko hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With his leg Gerardo Ekaitz managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Caballa's David Lain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Caballa getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Daniel Janpier hit a great ball. If David Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Celio went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Romano in the 81st minute of play forced Caballa's goalkeeper Emanuel Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Herlitzka's Hugo Medero got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Anibal Ubendu struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gerardo Ekaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caballa.
