The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nunez Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angostaco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Rivero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nunez Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Blas Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Angostaco AFC's Arsenio Pinto got a free kick in the 17th minute. Bonifacio Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gerardo Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Montes during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Medanitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Montes. If Bonifacio Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Gilabert made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Blas Txanton sent off a good shot on target. Medanitos FC's Blas Txanton got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Nunez Seguinus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Blas Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Seguinus made a kick off. When Bonifacio Argoitz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Medanitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Argoitz couldn't finish the play. Bonifacio Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Angostaco AFC's Ricardo Sagrario got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Blas Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Ramirez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonas Rivero firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Medanitos FC's goalkeeper Jonas Rivero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nunez Seguinus struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jonas Rivero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angostaco AFC. After a rather tough play, Medanitos FC's Gonzalo Jurgi got a free kick in the 78th minute. Gonzalo Jurgi's late challenge caught a Angostaco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Jurgi helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Medanitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Jurgi. Angostaco AFC's Andres Honesto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonas Rivero but with some difficulty. Angostaco AFC's Gerardo Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Txanton in the 84th minute of play. Gerardo Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute Bonifacio Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Txanton in the 91st minute of the match. Jonas Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Seguinus in the 94th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
