The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Hug got free with Jacobo Primo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Primo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Paio in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Angau Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jacobo Primo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Hug. Angau Futbol Club's Jacobo Primo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Angau Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Angau Futbol Club's Jacobo Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Firme in the 29th minute of play. Jacobo Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Firme, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Joel Aztore kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Firme to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Ulises Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UnionTate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Soin's late challenge caught a Angau Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Soin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, UnionTate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Soin to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Iigo stood somewhat misplaced when Aaron Tauro came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 61 minute. 74 minutes into the game, Joel Aztore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Angau Futbol Club's Adan Otsoa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Adan Otsoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of UnionTate booed when Angau Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position.
