Gonzalo Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Medanitos FC's Blas Txanton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Domenec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bonifacio Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Melquiades Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Rivero made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gavino Janpier sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Paulin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Salvador Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Rivero having to interfere. Jonas Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Medanitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Blas Txanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Domenec having to interfere. Jonas Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Ruperto Vellito fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medanitos FC's protests and gave Ruperto Vellito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Ruperto Vellito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Salvador Endira in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 44 minutes, Uriel Phelipe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medanitos FC and the Desamparados players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Medanitos FC! The goalkeeper, Jonas Rivero, was totally fooled by Desamparados's Silvano Bero, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Endira to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, one of Medanitos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Medanitos FC. After 71 played minutes Desamparados got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Abajas. In the 82nd minute Bonifacio Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Domenec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Mario Ospin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desamparados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medanitos FC the free kick. Blas Txanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Melquiades Domenec made a huge save. Desamparados's Mario Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Bonifacio Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Endira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Desamparados had won after a very even match.
