Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustino Cresitobalo kicked off to start the match. Jonas Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Cresitobalo in the 3rd minute of play. Athens FC's Baltasar Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateo Quilino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Argoitz in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Medanitos FC booed when Athens FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Gau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Bonifacio Argoitz in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Athens FC's Faustino Cresitobalo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jonas Rivero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Athens FC. After a defensive mix-up in Athens FC's zone, Blas Txanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Quilino came out of the goal and Blas Txanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jonas Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Cresitobalo in the 36th minute of play. Baltasar Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonas Rivero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Medanitos FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hernan Paulin hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Rodolfo Veto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Medanitos FC's Jonas Rivero didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Argoitz to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Cresitobalo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Rivero saved Medanitos FC from getting behind. Bonifacio Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Quilino having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the match Uriel Phelipe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Quilino skillfully saved the ball. Mateo Quilino came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Medanitos FC's Blas Txanton. But to his dismay, Blas Txanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Athens FC's Mateo Quilino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Athens FC from getting a goal against them. Ivan Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Medanitos FC's Salvador Esiquio tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Athens FC's Faustino Cresitobalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Rivero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
