Salvador Endira started the match with the kick off. Gavino Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Gilabert having to interfere. Nunez Seguinus scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Domenec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Desamparados getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jonas Padro hit a great ball. Melquiades Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Seguinus in the 21st minute of play. After 25 played minutes Angostaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Santikurtz. After recieving a nice pass, Desamparados's Silvano Bero tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A hard shot 28 in the game by Gavino Janpier from a close distance when the talented Gerardo Gilabert managed to make a qualified save. Angostaco AFC's players were relieved. In the 37th minute of the match, Salvador Endira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerardo Gilabert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Angostaco AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bernardino Peli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Ramirez in the 44th minute of play forced Desamparados's goalkeeper Melquiades Domenec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Melquiades Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Ramirez in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Angostaco AFC's Ramon Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Domenec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nunez Seguinus to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Santikurtz charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Santikurtz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerardo Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Janpier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gavino Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desamparados's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Gilabert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Melquiades Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Domenec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Seguinus's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Melquiades Domenec came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Angostaco AFC's Ramon Ramirez. But to his dismay, Ramon Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 74 minutes, Bernardino Peli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angostaco AFC and the Desamparados players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Bernardino Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Gilabert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Janpier's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gerardo Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Janpier in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Desamparados booed when Angostaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Silvano Bero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Gilabert skillfully saved the ball. After 86 minutes of play Angostaco AFC's Jaime Santikurtz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th match minute, Angostaco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. When Salvador Endira came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Desamparados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Endira couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Domenec made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Ramon Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. The Desamparados supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Angostaco AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Angostaco AFC.
