Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Igor Ibon made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Charrúas FC's Elvio Tiadoro got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Malvin in the 5th minute of play forced Charrúas FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Everardo Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Ibon in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Lluis saved Cardoso from getting behind. Francisco Sanduru hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Elvio Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Ibon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Igor Ibon sped through Cardoso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Lluis. Everardo Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Domingo Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Ibon in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Lluis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cardoso defense, Everardo Medero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Lluis. The Cardoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Lluis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Igor Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charrúas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Ibon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Lluis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Charrúas FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Malvin to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cardoso defense, Everardo Medero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Lluis. The Cardoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Lluis should have stopped the shot. Saverio Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Charrúas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Iigo to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Tristan came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardoso's Fidel Montrelle. But to his dismay, Fidel Montrelle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Domingo Lluis made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Everardo Medero sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Elvio Malvin notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Charrúas FC's Eliseo Tristan. Eliseo Tristan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Everardo Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Igor Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Lluis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Medero in the 87th minute. Jimeno Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Domingo Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Igor Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Domingo Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes, Francisco Sanduru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardoso and the Charrúas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Cardoso got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Sanduru. Domingo Lluis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Medero went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Charrúas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
