Cardoso's Fidel Montrelle got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Cardoso's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Irrintzi came free, but Domingo Lluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Nalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Malvin in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Indiana's Dionisio Loiola got a free kick in the 39th minute. Cardoso's Saverio Jerardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Primitivo Nalo but with some difficulty. Indiana's Primitivo Nalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Indiana from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Nalo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Montrelle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Indiana booed when Cardoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elvio Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cardoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Malvin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 56 minutes, Hugo Irrintzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indiana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Irrintzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cardoso's Domingo Lluis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Cardoso from getting a goal against them. After 68 played minutes Indiana got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Loiola. In the 69th minute, Saverio Jerardo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Indiana's Primitivo Nalo didn't even have to move. Leonides Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Domingo Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dionisio Loiola hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Indiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Lluis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Irrintzi in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Cardoso's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Lonzo came free, but Domingo Lluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cardoso were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Indiana for a fine match.
