Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Clodoveo Criston started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Chañar FC's Clodoveo Criston got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Atauri having to interfere. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Clodoveo Criston sped through Arrecifes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Truylos. The crowd rose to their feet as Clodoveo Criston kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Truylos. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Arrecifes's Fausto Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Criston recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Truylos. Clodoveo Criston showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Criston in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Truylos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clodoveo Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Criston came free, but Ivan Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Criston dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Truylos, 4-0. In the 46th minute Clodoveo Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute, Chañar FC's Clodoveo Criston dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Jenaro made a kick off. Chañar FC's Jacobo Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Jenaro in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Criston came free, but Ivan Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Clodoveo Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chañar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Atilano Mateo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañar FC's protests and gave Atilano Mateo a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Abajas in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Truylos saved Arrecifes from getting behind. Jacobo Atauri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Selmo in the 69th minute. If Clodoveo Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Jenaro in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Clodoveo Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaime Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chañar FC booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Criston in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Chañar FC's Jaime Abajas made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Truylos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Criston in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Truylos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Criston in the 96th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Ivan Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Abajas took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Truylos. Ivan Truylos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chañar FC fully deserved thier win.
