The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Chingolo Juniors booed when Chañar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Chingolo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Criston came free, but Justino Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chingolo Juniors's Justino Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Mateo in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jaime Abajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Mariano Cresencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chañar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chingolo Juniors the free kick. Mariano Cresencio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The Chañar FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Chañar FC's Jaime Abajas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Criston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Oto was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Chingolo Juniors's Justino Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Abajas in the 31st minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Jaime Abajas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justino Oto skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute Clodoveo Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Criston in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Clodoveo Criston took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Justino Oto to make any attempt to save it. Wilfredo Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Justino Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Criston in the 86th minute of play forced Chingolo Juniors's goalkeeper Justino Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Mateo in the 88th minute of the match. When Adolfo Rocendo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Chingolo Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Rocendo couldn't finish the play. The Chingolo Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chañar FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
