In the 7th minute, Isidro Lixandro made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Truylos. Arrecifes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ivan Truylos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Venceslao went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Joel Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrecifes's Ivan Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Perez in the 22nd minute of play. Ivan Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ricardo Emesto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Aureliano Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Truylos having to make a save. If Aureliano Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Celestino Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Emesto having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Los Suarez City's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Selmo came free, but Ricardo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Ortle hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Joel Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ivan Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Los Suarez City's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Jenaro came free, but Ricardo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Emesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Arrecifes's Ivan Truylos got control of the ball when Aureliano Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Los Suarez City's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Selmo came free, but Ricardo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Procopio. In the game's 81st minute Los Suarez City's Lázaro Aznaro took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Ivan Truylos and thus the score was 1-3. Aureliano Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Truylos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Suarez City's Sixto Estevez got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ricardo Emesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Selmo in the 90th minute of play.
