ALMAFUERTE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrecifes the free kick. A collision led to ALMAFUERTE FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Primitivo Celino hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Eugenio Selmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Celestino Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, ALMAFUERTE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Sotero to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Jenaro in the 15th minute of the match. Haroldo Goyo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eugenio Selmo sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Eugenio Selmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Goyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, ALMAFUERTE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Jenaro came free, but Haroldo Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Eugenio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrecifes's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Goyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Goyo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Celestino Jenaro sent off a good shot on target. Celestino Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Selmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Goyo when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Adolfo Eate made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Jenaro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Goyo saved ALMAFUERTE FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Selmo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. After some careless play in the ALMAFUERTE FC defense, Marciano Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Goyo. Haroldo Goyo came out of the goal and Celestino Jenaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ALMAFUERTE FC's Haroldo Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Selmo in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Selmo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Goyo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Haroldo Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of ALMAFUERTE FC booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arrecifes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
