The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Chingolo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Confesor came free, but Justino Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Confesor in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Oto saved Chingolo Juniors from getting behind. Zacarias Poncio's late challenge caught a Romang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Poncio helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Chingolo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Poncio. In the 30th minute, Cristobal Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Severo Confesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carolo Bertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Rocendo in the 37th minute. The supporters of Chingolo Juniors booed when Romang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Nunez Goito from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Carolo Bertol's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Carolo Bertol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Salvino in the 42nd minute. When Adolfo Rocendo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Chingolo Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Rocendo couldn't finish the play. Carolo Bertol was a little too slow when Adolfo Rocendo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Confesor was the one to do the kick off. If Marciano Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teodoro Gutxi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romang's protests and gave Teodoro Gutxi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Romang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marciano Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chingolo Juniors fans jumped to their feet. Justino Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chingolo Juniors's Jonas Enekoitz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Justino Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Nunez Goito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Bertol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Romang were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Chingolo Juniors to leave the ground with a draw.
