Marcos Bernard succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Ivan Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Truylos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Bernard's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Mateo Jordy charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Jordy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Jordy to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Eugenio Selmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes in the game, Marcos Bernard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ivan Truylos having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Mauricio Isidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Truylos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jonas Ekain hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ivan Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Bernard in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Truylos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 38 minutes into the match, Marcos Bernard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Truylos. Arrecifes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Bernard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Marcos Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Truylos having to interfere. Ivan Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Bernard in the 51st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Bernard made a kick off. Celestino Jenaro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Roman Tipi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrecifes. Ivan Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Isidor in the 60th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Jonas Ekain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algarrobo and the Arrecifes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jonas Ekain hit a great ball. The long shot by Fausto Procopio in the 64th minute really tested Roman Tipi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 68th play minutes Marcos Bernard shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ivan Truylos and just under the crossbar into goal. Algarrobo's Roman Tipi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Algarrobo from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Roman Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Bernard in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Truylos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 78 minutes, Marcos Bernard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Bernard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcos Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Isidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Truylos was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Mauricio Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Truylos having to interfere. Mauricio Isidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Algarrobo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
