Santamarina FC's Jairo Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Gitano in the 12th minute of play. Niceto Orlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Dacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. If Hilario Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Andalucas's Hilario Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Gitano in the 86th minute of play. Hilario Perez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 91st playminute. Nicasio Harri hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Andalucas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Andalucas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
