That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Jarimana's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Astrada came free, but Severiano Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Faro's late challenge caught a Santamarina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Faro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Santamarina FC booed when Jarimana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Bilbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Dacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When Timoteo Astrada came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Santamarina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Astrada couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Santamarina FC booed when Jarimana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Timoteo Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jarimana's goalkeeper Severiano Guter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Santamarina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Bilbo came free, but Jairo Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jarimana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santamarina FC.
