The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Leopoldo Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Felipillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Leopoldo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C booed when Mariño AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Atarratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C's Cleto Iratzeder made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Felipillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Iban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Felipillo having to interfere. Cleto Iratzeder struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ruperto Felipillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C. Feliberto Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Ler. After some careless play in the Mariño AFC defense, Cleto Iratzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Felipillo. The Mariño AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Felipillo should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Mariño AFC's Ruperto Felipillo got control of the ball when Cleto Iratzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ruperto Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Abel in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mariño AFC defense, Cleto Iratzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Felipillo. The Mariño AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Felipillo should have stopped the shot. Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C played a much better game than Mariño AFC and deserved their victory. The Mariño AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
