Leopoldo Corderall hit a great ball. Leopoldo Corderall got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rosendo Txema was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 18 minutes in the game, Lisandro Oxarra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ruperto Felipillo having to interfere. If Serafin Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Avellaneda's late challenge caught a La Bola FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Avellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Mariño AFC defense, Serafin Indartsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Felipillo. The Mariño AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Felipillo should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Indartsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Serafin Indartsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Felipillo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. With a little luck, La Bola FC's Abel Avellaneda got control of the ball when Silvio Atarratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mariño AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Bola FC.
