Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Placido Huly kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Placido Huly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lumb FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Huly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Egun might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Mendez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Egun ran back to his position shaking his head. If Placido Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes of play, Ayapaso's Teodoro Garaile made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Videl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Dubardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Lumb FC booed when Ayapaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Dubardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lumb FC's Placido Huly got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Dubardo during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anselmo Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Placido Huly notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ayapaso's Adan Mendez. Adan Mendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adan Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Huly in the 25th minute of play. Orlando Quico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Videl having to make a save. A collision led to Lumb FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aureliano Taurino hit a great ball. Adan Mendez came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lumb FC's Placido Huly. But to his dismay, Placido Huly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With an all-out effort, Ayapaso's Fabio Videl threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orlando Quico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Lumb FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rafael Bembe hit a great ball. Fabio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tomás Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Videl having to interfere. Lázaro Rivero hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Quico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Placido Huly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Huly had several of the Ayapaso's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Adan Mendez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ayapaso's Adan Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Huly in the 61st minute of play. Tomás Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Huly in the 67th minute of play forced Ayapaso's goalkeeper Adan Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Huly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adan Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ayapaso's Orlando Quico got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lumb FC's Fabio Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Pello in the 79th minute of play. Fabio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Lázaro Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lumb FC and the Ayapaso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Lázaro Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dante Egun came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lumb FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Egun couldn't finish the play. Fabio Videl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Quico's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match was over Lumb FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ayapaso throughout the match.
