Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teofilo Gaxan started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Teofilo Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Estevez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tambillos's Esteban Fidensio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Tambillos from getting a goal against them. Francisco Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Fidensio having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Jakobe in the 9th minute of play forced Tambillos's goalkeeper Esteban Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Medrano's Severiano Ixidor got a free kick in the 14th minute. Danilo Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Gaxan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Esteban Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Jakobe in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Fidensio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteve Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medrano's goalkeeper Danilo Estevez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severiano Ixidor hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Enzo Elia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tambillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medrano the free kick. With a little luck, Tambillos's Esteban Fidensio got control of the ball when Laureano Pepillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Francisco Jakobe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Fidensio. Tambillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Jakobe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Laureano Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Jakobe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laureano Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Esteban Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Laureano Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Belmiro charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Belmiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. Medrano's Astor Luzea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tambillos. A collision led to Tambillos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Enzo Elia hit a great ball. Esteban Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Gaxan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Fidensio came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Medrano's Laureano Pepillo. But to his dismay, Laureano Pepillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tambillos's Esteban Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Pepillo in the 76th minute of play. Teofilo Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Estevez having to interfere. Cosme Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Laureano Pepillo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Medrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Pepillo couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Francisco Jakobe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Medrano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
