Esteve Favila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Eladio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Esteve Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Raul Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Goren's late challenge caught a Tambillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Goren helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Chillar FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Goren. The long shot by Amador Resto in the 22nd minute really tested Esteban Fidensio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 23rd minute, Cosme Belmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tambillos's Esteban Fidensio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Tambillos from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goalkeeper Esteban Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Ramirez. In the 36th match minute, Chillar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Valente to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Gaxan took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Eladio. Raul Eladio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Esteve Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 51st minute Tadeo Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Favila might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Eladio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteve Favila ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Tambillos's Teofilo Gaxan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Eladio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tambillos's goalkeeper Esteban Fidensio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Tambillos got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Elia. 69 minutes into the match, Chillar FC's goalkeeper Raul Eladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Favila. Florencio Lope struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Esteban Fidensio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chillar FC. The supporters of Tambillos booed when Chillar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chillar FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Teofilo Gaxan scored to the left of an out of position Raul Eladio, making the score, 0-3.
