Adan Mendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Higinio Ederono fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.All Boys's protests and gave Higinio Ederono a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A.All Boys getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Higinio Ederono hit a great ball. Orlando Quico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Tomás Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nicolas Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, C.A.All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Pello came free, but Nicolas Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.All Boys's Nicolas Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Pello in the 25th minute of play. Orlando Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nicolas Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Quico in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Aresti saved C.A.All Boys from getting behind. Nicolas Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Quico in the 33rd minute of the match. Nicolas Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Ayapaso's Orlando Quico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Aresti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Orlando Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayapaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Quico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ramon Sancho made the kick off in the second half. If Benito Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomás Pello came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ayapaso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Pello couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ayapaso's Agustin Cortez got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Benito Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes in the game, Orlando Quico fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nicolas Aresti having to interfere. Nicolas Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Quico in the 62nd minute of play. Tomás Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Aresti having to interfere. Tomás Pello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Aresti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ramon Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Mendez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A.All Boys's Benito Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ramon Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.All Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Tomás Pello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benito Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomás Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Aresti having to interfere. After 91 played minutes C.A.All Boys got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Honesto. Tomás Pello might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Aresti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Pello ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the game, Orlando Quico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Aresti. Orlando Quico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
