The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Iratzeder got free with Abel Avellaneda in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Socorro's late challenge caught a Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Socorro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Bola FC's Abel Socorro got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Cleto Iratzeder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Avellaneda. Cleto Iratzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Leopoldo Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Abel Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Avellaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Iratzeder's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Cleto Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Bola FC's Abel Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Iratzeder in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Feliberto Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuerza Trinidad A.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Ler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cleto Iratzeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Bola FC's Abel Avellaneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
