Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Lumb FC's Placido Huly started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremias Lemus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Egun in the 9th minute. Frank Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, PARALITICOS F.C.'s Manfredo Quintal got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dante Egun took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Lemus. Jeremias Lemus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, PARALITICOS F.C.'s Frank Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Videl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremias Lemus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Egun in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Dante Egun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Lemus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, PARALITICOS F.C.'s Jeremias Lemus got control of the ball when Dante Egun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lumb FC's Fabio Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Murillo in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Huly in the 38th minute of play forced PARALITICOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeremias Lemus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Frank Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PARALITICOS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Videl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfredo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fabio Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Murillo in the 43rd minute of play. When PARALITICOS F.C.'s Tito Chaverri in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lumb FC's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Murillo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Bembe in the 52nd minute of play forced PARALITICOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeremias Lemus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lumb FC's Lázaro Rivero pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Lumb FC booed when PARALITICOS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Frank Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of PARALITICOS F.C. booed when Lumb FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Huly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, PARALITICOS F.C.'s Frank Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Videl. Fabio Videl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Frank Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fabio Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tito Chaverri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Videl having to interfere. Fabio Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PARALITICOS F.C.'s Manfredo Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 minutes of play, PARALITICOS F.C.'s Manfredo Quintal made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Videl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Videl having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Melchor Maurin put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Lemus. Manfredo Quintal might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Videl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfredo Quintal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Placido Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frank Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ermegildo Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, PARALITICOS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dante Egun came free, but Jeremias Lemus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lumb FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
