Zeledon Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cruz having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Ceballos got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Herauso. When Efrain Sidoro fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceballos's protests and gave Efrain Sidoro a yellow card for diving instead. Efrain Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Hipolito Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cruz having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Herauso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Cristian Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceballos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Oihenarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ovidio Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Leonardo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceballos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Illan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidio Herauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Cruz having to make a save. Ernesto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Sidoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The Ceballos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, Ceballos's Ovidio Herauso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Efrain Sidoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ernesto Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atletico de rafaela's Ernesto Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Sidoro in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ceballos's Ovidio Herauso got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ceballos's Efrain Sidoro got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Efrain Sidoro off the ground. In the 90th minute, Efrain Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Ceballos were the better team. Ceballos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
