Bernardino Cai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Cai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, loquitos de meri's Lucio Turi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Raphael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bernardino Cai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Timo in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Melquiades Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Faustino Abar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro Raphael. Faustino Abar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Pinto in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardino Cai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute Melquiades Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Diegoleadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Arotza came free, but Mauro Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
