Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonathan Pinto kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes in the game Christian Isaio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlos Ferrer. Diegoleadores FC's Mauro Raphael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Diegoleadores FC from getting a goal against them. Ceballos's Anier Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Timo in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the game, Delmar Kaxen landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Aaron Bastian fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diegoleadores FC's protests and gave Aaron Bastian a yellow card for diving instead. Ceballos made a substitution. Romulo Gilen replaced Delmar Kaxen. 18 minutes into the game, one of Diegoleadores FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Ermegildo Calisto put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Diegoleadores FC's Ermegildo Calisto got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Pinto took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Valentine. Anier Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ovidio Herauso charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Herauso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Ceballos got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Herauso. Diegoleadores FC's Mauro Raphael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Diegoleadores FC from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Herauso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
Ovidio Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Raphael having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Diegoleadores FC's zone, Ovidio Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Raphael came out of the goal and Ovidio Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes, Leonardo Illan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceballos and the Diegoleadores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Leonardo Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Herauso in the 68th minute of play. Mauro Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute of the game, Melquiades Timo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. During the 76th minute of the match Ovidio Herauso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ovidio Herauso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Diegoleadores FC booed when Ceballos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Herauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Jago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Raphael having to interfere. If Efrain Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Ceballos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Sidoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Sidoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Romulo Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ceballos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
