Domingos Domenec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingos Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Jonathan Pinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Dragon Wofito's Domingos Domenec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Dragon Wofito's Domingos Domenec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Timo in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Melquiades Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diegoleadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Timo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingos Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Pinto in the 42nd minute of play. When Aureliano Abastas fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Dragon Wofito's protests and gave Aureliano Abastas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Dragon Wofito's Aureliano Abastas got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Guaberto Goiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Domenec skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonathan Pinto made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Corderall during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Dragon Wofito getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Joaquin Corderall hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Melquiades Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Domenec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Diegoleadores FC booed when El Dragon Wofito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Domingos Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Timo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Domenec was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
